Losberger De Boer appoints Francis Scholten as Managing Director Rental Projects Division

Published on

Losberger De Boer, a leading provider of integrated temporary and semi-permanent space solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment per 1 July 2021 of Mrs Francis Scholten as Managing Director Rental Projects Division, one of the four divisions within the Losberger De Boer Group.

After starting as Account Manager International Projects in 1999, Francis has gained extensive experience in the event rental business with high profile international projects such as the Asian Games, Olympic Games, Volvo Ocean Race and UEFA Championships.

In 2018 Francis was appointed MD of the company’s international projects in those countries where no permanent Losberger De Boer organization was present. In 2019 the Middle East region with the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar was added to her responsibilities. Despite the major impact of the Covid pandemic, Francis successfully managed a broad variety of important projects for Losberger De Boer that had to be carried out under complex conditions. Notable examples are the construction of the Jeddah Super Dome in Saudi Arabia and the many projects that were realized to support healthcare institutions with additional capacity such as temporary hospitals, testing and vaccination centres.

Arnout de Hair, CEO of Losberger De Boer: "We are proud to have Francis within our team. The personal and professional growth she has shown in recent years was also awarded by being elected in the authoritative list of Construction Business News Middle East's Power 60 which lists the most authoritative people from the construction, real estate and facility management sectors. That is an excellent recognition for the role she plays not only within Losberger De Boer, but also in the international playing field.

We are pleased that with Francis we have been able to appoint someone from our own organization, having a strong background and a vast network in the international rental project business, to this challenging position and wish her every success in this new role.”
