BRIT Awards 2026 Manchester
Delivering full-scale event infrastructure for a new venue
The BRIT Awards is one of the UK’s leading music events, combining live performance, broadcast production, and large-scale hospitality.
When the event moved to Manchester for the first time, a complete event environment had to be delivered at Co-op Live — supporting both audience experience and complex production operations.
The Challenge
With no existing event infrastructure in place, a fixed event date, and full public and broadcast visibility, the entire site needed to be built from the ground up.
The setup had to support all core functions, including red carpet, artist areas, catering, production, and security — and be fully operational from day one.
The Solution
More than 5,000 sqm of event infrastructure was delivered across the site, covering both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
This included the VIP entrance and red carpet, artist village, crew catering, security and operational zones, technical storage, and an external performance area.
Access infrastructure — including platforms, steps, and ramps — was integrated across the site to support safe and efficient movement for guests, staff, and production teams.
The overall layout created clear zones and streamlined flow, ensuring that all areas could operate simultaneously without disruption.
The Outcome
The site was delivered fully operational and ready for use from day one.
For the client, this meant the BRIT Awards could be executed in a new venue with full control over timing, flow, and operations — without the need for on-site troubleshooting. Guests, artists, and production teams moved through the space efficiently, allowing the event to run as planned across both live and broadcast environments.
Client Testimonial
“We would like to thank you all for another fantastic show and for helping deliver such a successful move to Manchester.
Without your professionalism, dedication, passion, and the care you bring to every detail, the event simply would not be the spectacular success it is. Everyone involved is delighted with all aspects of this year’s BRIT Awards show, red carpet, BRITs VIP Club and the after-party and we hope you feel proud to have been part of it.
The general feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and the whole event felt seamless and incredibly special. The BPI wants to express their gratitude to you and all your teams.
Shows like this are only possible because of the people behind them, thank you for being part of such an exceptional team”.
