BRIT Awards 2026 Manchester
A full-scale event environment, built and operational within a tight timeframe
Delivering the BRIT Awards 2026 in a New Venue
The 2026 BRIT Awards marked a significant moment for the event, moving outside of London for the first time to Co-op Live in Manchester. The 46th edition brought together leading British and international artists, with the show broadcast across ITV and streamed globally.
Edd Blower, Director of Audience Strategy & Growth, RCA Records and Co-Chair of the BRIT Awards Digital Committee, said "This year felt like a genuine turning point for The BRIT Awards, and the digital campaign reflected that.”
Giuseppe De Cristofano, BPI Director of Digital and Co-Chair of the BRIT Awards Digital Committee, shared “The move to Manchester has added a fresh lens to our campaign… the way the city has embraced the BRITs is unparallelled… I am thrilled with the huge increase in engagement we’ve seen.”
The Challenge
With the BRIT Awards taking place at a new venue, everything needed to be built to support the full event, from the red carpet through to artist areas, catering, production and security.
The build had to be completed within a tight timeframe, with the site ready to support an event of this scale from the moment doors opened.
The Solution
In total, over 5,000 sqm of temporary structures were delivered across the site.
This included the VIP entrance and red carpet, along with a range of supporting spaces such as the artist village, crew catering areas, security and operational zones, technical storage and an external performance area.
Alongside the structures, full access infrastructure was installed across the site, including entrance platforms, steps and ramps. These elements helped ensure safe and straightforward movement for guests, staff and production teams throughout the event.
The Outcome
The site was delivered ready for use across all areas, from the red carpet through to artist, crew and production spaces. It supported the successful delivery of the BRIT Awards in a new location for the first time.
The project demonstrates how a large-scale event can be delivered at a new venue, without compromising on how the site functions for both broadcast and live operations.
Client Testimonial
“We would like to thank you all for another fantastic show and for helping deliver such a successful move to Manchester.
Without your professionalism, dedication, passion, and the care you bring to every detail, the event simply would not be the spectacular success it is. Everyone involved is delighted with all aspects of this year’s BRIT Awards show, red carpet, BRITs VIP Club and the after-party and we hope you feel proud to have been part of it.
The general feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and the whole event felt seamless and incredibly special. The BPI wants to express their gratitude to you and all your teams.
Shows like this are only possible because of the people behind them, thank you for being part of such an exceptional team”.
