Insulated Storage Hall in Waldenburg – Completed in Five Days
For R. STAHL Schaltgeräte, one of the world's leading companies in explosion protection and plant safety, we expanded storage capacity in 2022 with an insulated hall — completed in just five days.
Quickly Increasing Storage Capacity
To rapidly expand storage capacity at their headquarters in Waldenburg, explosion protection expert R. STAHL Schaltgeräte partnered with Losberger De Boer. In just five days, a 10-meter wide, 13-meter long, and 4.2-meter insulated storage hall (Induflex) was constructed on their premises, creating an additional 130 m² of storage space.
Easy access and high flexibility are ensured by a 4-meter-high automatic roller door. Additionally, the hall is equipped with a pedestrian door for convenient entry.
To allow natural light to enter, a skylight ridge was installed along the entire length of the hall, providing effective illumination and ensuring proper ventilation.
To maintain a consistently comfortable temperature inside the hall, our sandwich panels were used. The 60 mm-thick wall and roof cladding help reduce operating costs and lower CO² emissions.
