BOSS OPEN 2026
Creating space for world-class tennis in Stuttgart
Supporting every aspect of the tournament
More than 50,000 spectators attended the BOSS OPEN 2026 in Stuttgart, enjoying world-class tennis despite three days of rain. Behind the matches, a carefully planned event infrastructure provided the spaces needed to welcome guests, support tournament staff and keep operations running throughout the event.
For another year, Losberger De Boer worked with organiser e|motion Sports GmbH to deliver the sporting event infrastructure at TC Weissenhof, combining established event structures with modular facilities introduced to the tournament for the first time.
Making the most of a challenging location
TC Weissenhof has been part of Stuttgart's tennis history for more than a century. Its distinctive setting also presents considerable logistical challenges. Space around the grass courts is limited, access routes are narrow and the construction schedule leaves little room for delays.
Within just a few days, Losberger De Boer installed approximately 30 individual temporary event structures, carefully positioned to accommodate the tournament's different requirements within the available space.
The main VIP hospitality facility measured 20 × 35 metres, with an adjoining 10 × 35 metre terrace and a connected kitchen facility. Together, these spaces provided a dedicated environment where guests could meet, enjoy hospitality and spend time together during the tournament.
A continuous flooring system covering 4,500 m² connected the different areas, allowing visitors to move comfortably between the hospitality villages. With three days of rain during the event, this proved particularly valuable.
Supporting the people behind the event
A major development in 2026 was the introduction of 37 modular units from Losberger Modular Systems, extending the range of facilities available to the tournament organiser.
The modules served several purposes across the site. Modern sanitary facilities supported visitor comfort, while office modules provided space for bag storage, staff facilities and a backup office. Additional units offered accessible storage for equipment and materials needed throughout the event.
These facilities helped the teams working behind the scenes carry out their responsibilities efficiently, while providing practical amenities for spectators.
By combining temporary event structures with modular facilities, Losberger De Boer was able to address a wider range of requirements within the same project, making effective use of the limited space available.
A successful tournament on and off the court
The BOSS OPEN 2026 brought more than 50,000 visitors to Stuttgart, despite challenging weather conditions. The tournament concluded with a final between two top-ten players, Taylor Fritz and eventual winner Ben Shelton.
For the organisers, the event required an infrastructure that could accommodate large visitor numbers while supporting the many activities taking place behind the scenes. The combination of hospitality facilities, operational spaces and modular amenities helped create an environment in which the tournament could run smoothly.
The project continued the longstanding collaboration between Losberger De Boer and e|motion Sports GmbH, building on the experience gained from previous editions of the event.
From welcoming spectators to supporting the people responsible for delivering the tournament, each space had a role to play in bringing another successful BOSS OPEN to life.
