Existing tennis court covered to enable year-round use in Ceyrat
The tennis club in Ceyrat now plays year-round, thanks to a membrane-covered aluminium structure installed over their existing court.
Upgrading an existing court — without rebuilding
In Ceyrat (Puy-de-Dôme), the local tennis club lacked a covered playing space. The court was already there, the demand was clear — but the weather wasn’t always cooperative.
Rather than relocate or start from scratch, the municipality chose to cover the existing resin court with a dedicated membrane structure. This solution made year-round use possible, while preserving the court and limiting site impact.

What this meant for the municipality
Designed to protect and preserve
By choosing a covering solution instead of a rebuild, the municipality ensured a faster, cost-conscious and low-impact upgrade. The structure protects an existing investment while making it usable in all weather conditions.
More than 20 years later, the facility continues to serve schools, clubs and community users — showing how smart decisions made once can have lasting public value.
A covered court that serves the local community
The facility provides reliable, weatherproof access to sport, all year round. It’s a practical example of how small-scale improvements can lead to lasting benefits in public health and local engagement.
