Howdens Expo, Howden HQ
Overview
Every exhibition starts with the same problem: not enough space.
More space means more stands, more suppliers and ultimately more opportunity, whether that’s increased footfall or stronger engagement. The challenge is finding a way to scale an existing venue.
At Howden HQ, we installed a temporary structure to expand the showroom, creating additional exhibition space that blended seamlessly with the existing building.
The Solution
The existing showroom provided a strong foundation for the event, but additional space was required to accommodate more suppliers and improve the overall layout. Working to a tight programme, we installed a temporary A-frame structure directly alongside the building, creating a natural extension to the showroom.
The structure was designed to integrate with the existing environment, ensuring a consistent look and feel while allowing visitors to move easily between the original space and the new exhibition area. This approach increased capacity without disrupting the flow of the event, creating a single, cohesive environment for exhibitors and guests.
The Result
This additional space made it possible to organise the exhibition more effectively, supporting a broader range of suppliers while improving the overall experience.
- More supplier stands
- Better flow throughout the space
- More opportunities for interaction between suppliers and visitors
Expanding an existing space doesn’t have to mean permanent change. Temporary structures offer a practical way to scale as and when you need to.
If you have a venue but need more space to make your event work, we can help you find the right solution. Designed around your site, your timeline and your audience.
