Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025
For nearly two decades, Losberger De Boer has been a trusted partner to the organisers of Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, the world’s leading event for the mobile connectivity industry.
Supporting Innovation at Mobile World Congress
In 2025, we delivered the Access Entrance (South): A 1,500 m² structure that served as a welcoming point for attendees while managing the flow of people into the venue. This high-traffic, high-visibility area required a temporary structure that could meet the highest standards of functionality, safety, and aesthetics, all within a tight delivery window.

The Challenge
Delivering the Access Entrance (South) for Mobile World Congress in central Barcelona meant working in a live, high-footfall environment with limited build space.
The area around the Fira venue is heavily used by the public, so access was carefully managed in coordination with local authorities to avoid disruption.
With multiple contractors working in close proximity, the schedule had to be tightly sequenced. Our on-site project manager worked closely with the organiser’s team and other suppliers to maintain a smooth workflow, ensuring each phase of the build stayed on track.
Our Approach
After nearly two decades of working in and around this venue, our team is familiar with the local regulations, customs processes, and infrastructure requirements.
This meant we could anticipate potential bottlenecks like traffic restrictions, delivery curfews, and coordination with municipal services before they became issues.
This local knowledge, combined with a robust pre-build planning phase, helped us minimise delays and avoid surprises, even within the tight timeframe.
Client Testimonial
"This is a key event in the technological panorama that has a huge international appeal, which means a great complexity both in the previous management and during the assembly. The solution offered by Losberger De Boer was the only viable proposal given the limited assembly space and the limited time to carry out the event”.
Conclusion
What set this project apart was the forward-thinking brief. From the start, elements like furniture and flooring were selected with reuse in mind for MWC 2026, reflecting the event’s sustainability goals. This required additional planning during both build-up and dismantling to ensure materials could be recovered in good condition.
It’s a privilege to support an event like Mobile World Congress, and we’re grateful for the continued trust placed in our team.
